I don't think I packed enough!!100 lbs of clothes for 10 months??
Imagine lugging this all from the airport,
to the subway, off the subway,
and all over Bayswater
looking for a hotel!!
Poor Alexin (my travel buddy and fellow American student)!! Her luggage weighed more than her!!Needless to say, she needed the smoke break!
Translation: Don't be a stupid American who gets hit on the first day in London!
These were our first beers in the UK at a little pub by our hotel!
Oh yeah, we also shared our first meal - a teeny plate of potato wedges covered in cheese and bacon - HEALTHY!!
